“Should we stay or should we go?”

This is a question that I am often asked. My answer:  “How will waiting serve or benefit you?”

The biggest challenge for 2011, in my opinion, is the same as 2010, 2009 and 2008. Not enough product. Short supply will lead to continuing bidding wars for the best conditioned, located and priced properties.

  • Real estate prices and sales volumes tend to rise in the first six months of the year.
  • Because of the new mortgage rules, buyers will be looking for a mid-March closing date
  • The new mortgage rules will bring more buyers on the market which means more competition, better prices and terms for the sale of your home. 
  •  Lack of inventory may make it difficult for buyers to find their dream home.
